BYOB Party - BringYourOwnBeer

BYOB is a typical North American thing. Nothing can beat it in term of Canadian Student Life Experience!

Basically, someone opens its house and you can come in with your friends - as long as you know about the event & that you bring your own beer! I mean, beer is not mandatory, they will let you in even if you bring other drinks... with Claire we brought wine, because, we're French ya'know ;)
only them can do that to their houses!

My lovely friend Claire & I holding our Red Cups !!!

On our way to the party, we were wandering if there would be Red Cups there, we were thrilled there were some ! For us, it is the symbol of North American student parties, in every movie or TV show you can see them. Can you spot the happiness on our faces ! (and it is not only because of the wine...!)

FlipCupGame

Next, we started socializing. And what's better for that than some drinking game ? Of course, it had to be a Canadian landmark one, so the host proposed to start a "FlipCup Game", and it was a lot of fun !!!

Ensuite, on a commencé à socialiser.

First you grab a Red Cup, you pour some beer in it like 1/4 of a cup, then you choose a team and a "rival". The game starts with some clapping and singing, the first two opponents do bottoms up and, once they have emptied their cups, they try to flip them and they must end upside down on the table! We played it twice, and well, my team won twice too :)

The night went on and it was a lot fun!
